Anyone tried these? They look nice and the CX tyres are meant to be very good. Not a bad weight either.

I've got the Challenge Fort tyres, these can't be much different to the crits! mine ride well but you have
to pump them up very high for a firm ride, easily fitted to rims unlike Veloflex tyres

One problem I have found is that the tan wall is stickish all the time and they soon get dirty.

Cheapest for the Crits is at Planet X [I think!]

Fit Latex tubes for the best feel as in riding on true tubs, though be prepared to pump them up every two days.

Cheers Ian, it was PX that I saw them good call on the latex as well. I've unearthed that an Indian firm bought the molds from Clement when they went bust and are making the tyres under the Challenge brand. I believe its the same factory which makes Vittoria tyres too and are meant to be similar to Vittorias but sacrifice a bit of grip for robustness.

 Bandits! There were 5 left the other day!

you have to be quick with this sort of stuff....
Planet X were doing MA40's for around £20 each not so long ago.....soon went!
