there is a difference in the forks imho, although that may say more about my riding than the bike
the old style felt lighter steering, was great to ride no hands on,with prescisa you have more weight over the front, feels different ,like it's not playing around any more, seems more responsive steering wise, like you have to be on point with it to ride no hands,I think I prefer it though, the '96 fuc#in' flew with the ultegra, whupped some melt on a crabon, and he only got in font ços he jumped a zebra crossing with old people on it, the filthy cur couldn't look me in the face when i caught him at the lights, so I'm looking forward to putting the chorus 10 gruppo on it a go out whupping more melts

which is another great ride, I can't comment on carbon forks on a Master I'm afraid as I have no experience

My master , best bike I have ever ridden !!! , & that includes any carbon bike !not sure on the year as it had been resprayed , I think it's 90s as the cable goes in under the top tube & out the top of the top tube ? I'd put up some pics but can't seem to post them with my I phone
