Short Cage!

got a 105 short cage. its road but used one on my am bike for ages and was sweet.

£20 inc p&p. its pretty mint.

Yep they can normally stretch a little further than the manufacturers claim. I have a DuraAce short cage road mech on my mostly M900 MTB on a 12-28 cassette but I think it is only designed to go up to 26 or something like that.

Shimano are understandably conservative with their capacity ratings!
