.......my shed has been uprooted and has sailed 70 metres across the field behind the house
Fortunately its not the shed that houses the bikes, it did however house all my sea fishing kit including my rods.
I've squelched around the field and picked them all up and they are all intact which is amazing :D

I'm now left wondering if i can claim on my house insurance? :?

Wow thats far! Is the shed salvagable?
Sounds like you may be in an odd situation as its just outside yourhouse and we all know how fussy the companies can be.
They will probably say it was an act of god!

Crikey 70m

I suppose it all depends on your cover, do things in shed count under 'household contents' ?

.

She is flatpack  less the bits that have travelled even further.

The shed was originally where the blue tarp is on the right and is now the white and green mess top left   mother nature, she's a bugger when she's got the hump.
I'm hoping the farmer up the road will drag it out and weigh it in and that will be the end of it.

PS. Argos tin sheds make good aeroplanes, but not good sheds

*might be a bit more than 70 metres

That's a fair old distance, was it not fastened down? Although by the looks of it it would not have made much difference.
