Absurd sentencing

This sort of thing is not just confined to cyclists.

There have been a number of cases where car drivers (both drunk and sober) have hit people riding horses. In every case, horses have died and in some cases the rider has been seriously injured or killed, but in every case the driver has got away with points and a (derisory) fine.

In this case, the loon in the Frontera didn't harm anyone, he just did some damage which the taxpayer had to pick up the bill for, he then stuck two fingers up at the Police and judicial system, hence; bang him up (at yet more cost to the taxpayer).

Sort of tells you were priorities lie

Have you tried sitting down and talking it over with them?

Alas no

unfortunately having just nearly killed me, i find little desire to enter into polite conversation with them

I have reflected at great length on the matter however

if only he pressed the middle pedal when there a body on the bonnet.

shocking. you probably get a larger fine and points if you did 36 mpoh in a 30 moh zone.
