hope blue + cannondale blue

need some opinions on this

should i go hope blue hubs and bits on a cannondale blue frame ?

I think it would clash, as blue ano looks very different to blue paint. The only blue items on my Cannondale were a Magura booster and a set of blue DMR V8s. The booster was a perfect match, the V8s not so much.

Tbh if I'd had the money I'd have done a full M950 XTR Grey groupset on it with Mavic X618 Ceramic (not CD) Grey rims, with black spokes & black nipples. I think the super-dark greys used in the late '90s and early '00s really suit that bright blue. Shame Thomson never did a dark grey stem & seatpost.
