Questions before sale - apolgies if in wrong category!

Hi,

couple of questions as stripping down a bike for the first time and want to make sure I'm bundling things correctly so buyers get what they're expecting....

1. Locking ring - Is this part of the freehub, or part of the cassette?
2. Skewers - presumably part of the hub?
3. Downtube cable stops - partr of the frame or part of the gear shifters (Campy Ergos in my case?)

Hi Mik

1) Lockring part of the cassette
2) Skewers generally go with the hubs (but some sell separately)
3) D/T stops once again can go with either or be sold on their own

about the lockring... if you're selling used parts then it doesn't matter as much, but for new parts, shimano includes their lockrings with the cassettes, campagnolo include them with the hubs.

Ah..

all Campy components (mid 90's) so differing opinions on the lockring

I guess so loing as I'm clear in the ads it will be ok but obviously I want to maximise my chances of selling so keen to meet buers expectations.

TBH Foz is right about the Campagnolo lockrings being sold with the hubs
