6" of snow outside means stopping me from riding the Fargo.....fatbike is enjoying it mind.
Rode to Edinburgh cycles today and picked up a 29er friendly rear rack.....also has the plate to act as a mudguard.
Nice and light, plenty of side clearance too, I have set it low as I could over tire to stop wobble when I have a bag and supplies on.

Looks great Salty, that front mech is quite a contraption
2nd ride today, felt at home on the bike this time.
Done my local 15 mile loop with an extra mile on top as I was enjoying the bike too much.
1hr 10mins despite snow on some paths, and I had to push for a little bit to get to a main road.
I reckon I will be doing it mega quick soon, usually do it in 58mins to 1hr 20mins depending on hybrid or fatbike.
Fargo will be a dream....once this snow goes!

Well I had a nightmare with the Fargo this week.
Noticed a soft tire the day after a coast ride, took a tight tire off, found 3 thorns!
2 had went into the tube, quickly fixed then spent the next TWO hours trying to get the front tire back on!
So tight, I had to use lube and levers, each time the levers would nip the tube.....argh.
In the end, after 3 tubes and 8 patches I gave up and got bigger 2.3" tires, same problem.......mounting the tire without levers was impossible.
Down to my last 2 tubes....managed to heat tires on radiator, centre tire in rim, valve part on last, more swearing and job done.
Probably wasted 3hrs of my day and the days planned 45 mile ride ended up as a 15 mile local ride instead!
