As i said in another thread that ive just ordered a nice big sander.
I was checking the email from the company giving the tracking details which were contained in an attachment.
the inbox shows there are attachments there but it wont let me do anything with them LIKE VIEW THE BLOODY THINGS

A google shows this is an issue for a number of people and seems to be something yahoo are doing themselves, possibly in a way to force you into signing up for an upgrade @ £1 or something like that :?
some of the google replies said it is anti virus conflict and to check and disable the email attachment threat protection but i had a look and theres nothing that relates to attachment,a threat or otherwise.

Ive since discovered that it might have something to do with my foxit reader plugin for modzilla and my Java platform (SE 7 U5) which have warnings on them now about 'vulnerabilities' along with 'use with caution.

both add ons are up to date so i cant see for what reason FF is warning me about.Ive also just rear that if you use the programs the soft block becomes a hard block preventing you form switching them on even if you wanted to :?
I have a free 2 play in the list and FF have blocked that completely.Theyre offering the only option to remove.Again i know this program to be totally genuine(its from EA and part of the BF3 series)

Sorry, back the the email issue though it seems now that all the problems are related and it also appears that firefox is blocking them not because of any[fabricated] security isse but more likely to offer you an alternative add on/plug in that you have to pay for.

I shut firefox and opened internet explorer instead.Lo and Behold i could sign in to yahoo mail no problem and view the sander tracking details.

Going to swear now. Also likely to be shouting at the screen

What an utter crock of.......... SHITE................... WHO THE FU** DO THEY THINK THEY ARE TO DICTATE WHAT I CAN RUN ON MY COMPUTER.

Obviously firefox is becoming too big for its boots so im open to suggestions as to another browser :D

Or it is trying to help you stay safe?

I stay plenty safe  im here or ebay or youtube and thats about it.

First yahoo mail allowed you to stick with standard mail but asked you to upgrade. Then they told you to upgrade and then a bit later gave you zero option, upgrade or be unable to log in to your account
They are now asking you upgrade to a paid service. From their history its little stretch to see them [and others] charging for services in the near future.

Join yahoo as a new customer and take an email address
Make that address as long and complex as you can, upper ,lower case, numbers ,symbols
Do nothing with that account
Within a week your spam box will be full of whatever is current- Casino ,gambling etc.
ONLY place that could have come from is yahoo themselves.

Interested in you or I  Dont be so naive

Chrome.

SRware Iron.

Like Chrome, it's based on the Chromium browser. However it doesn't have all the tracking stuff that's implemented in Chrome. Think of it as "Chrome Lite".
Chrome's themes and quite a few of its addons work in Iron too.
