North Face Jacket Repair

to get a matching patch, cut a piece from the pocket or the inside of the jacket, assuming it is of same material.

hand sew it on, obviously you will need to find some material to patch up the hole made.

I had a North Face Jacket repaired by these guys:

My jacket is this:

So it is waterproof but still I'd say yours was worth a decent repair. I was so impressed with the work they did, the repair is virtually invisible, despite being a patch that's probably 15cm by 10cm and whenever I show it to people they think it's just part of the jacket. I think the total cost was about £13 which included pick-up, repair and postage back. I'm not sure what it would cost for your jacket, but I'd give them a ring to check.

I'm not sure if you're shocked at £13 being a lot, or a little!

It was a while ago (about 3 years), but still, that's how much it cost I think (it was certainly no more than £15), I figured a small price to pay to repair a £225 jacket. It had a big hole burnt in the sleeve because it was dumped on top of a light which burnt through to the down. It was about a week after I bought the coat, and I almost cried.
