Cortisone, another type of steroid was the subject point of the 1999 TdF, as he was tested positive for it but didn't have a relevant Therapeutic Use Exemption or TUE. He admitted, in his Oprah interview on 18/1/13, that he obtained a back-dated prescription for this. Despite this positive test for Cortisone during the race and no valid TUE, he was not excluded from the race. This has been on record since 1999.
There might be others too. There were certainly other drugs admitted to, not necessarily steriods.
