Well that was fun - Snow!

3 cyclists all turn up today at work on skinnyish tyres, as do the non-cyclists in their cars...come lunchtime the non-cyclists are looking at the skies, muttering and getting onto the starting blocks :) Suddenly the day is done and its just the cyclists left and my 'bag of knob' Saracen Dirt Trax that lives at work has suddenly become highly desirable.... 1 - 0 to the non car-drivers!

Been snowing all day and still going here on north east coast......wasn't meant to be and here

Fat bike isn't complaining

A highways agency warning said anyone travelling in icy conditions should take a shovel, blankets, sleeping bag, extra clothing, including a scarf, hat, gloves, 24 hour supply of food and drink, de-icer, rock salt, torch, tow rope, petrol can, first aid kit and jump leads.
I looked a right idiot on the bus this morning.

:)

No snow thankfully but its been -2/-3 all day with a bit of a wind bringing it down to about -5 in the later afternoon.
I do love my down jacket :D

I also love the crunchy sound tyres have on fresh snow. :D

Left work at 4 yesterday. Trains were running as and when they pleased (nothing new for Arriva Trains then) they put on taxi's for people no bikes allowed. Ended up spending £30 to get home :-(
