Surly Moonlander

So been looking forward to some of the moonie in the snow.

I really need to sell some bikes to justify a aother bike.

Fresh 6" of snow, desperate to play in it despite being on callout for work so nipped out for a loop of the streets

First time I have rode this in deep snow.....bloody ace.

The wide footprint when down to 4-6psi is unreal.....better than on the beach.

It's easier and faster than my pugsley and mukluk was on deep snow......hence the moony is popular in areas where snow is common.

Looking forward to some fun and pics tomorrow if work allows.....

 funny enough the van lost its gearbox today I have a replacement (in top pic) and its in shocking condition.....wouldn't take much to finish it off I don't think :p

Mines taken a battering today (Friday) and I've still got10 hours to go.

How come there are so many more nat grid engs out when it snows?

i ve got the best toy for the snow , not the surly. ex army land rover, soft top. brill in the snow and the heater works, complements the pugsley well

More snow through the night, great for fitness when everyone else isn't riding, I like to do a local ride if I can.

Luckily work is quiet today so managed a wee 10 miler.
