There used to be a small foundry near to where i lived as a child.They had a cat and this moggie sat on a bit of carpet 2 ' to the side of the furnace door,must have been a fierce heat but the mog didnt seem to mind.
Before he started building wheels he spent 17yrs working in a foundry.Talks about it if you press him on it and it makes for interesting listening.
