Retro Newbie
So here's the story, I purchased this frame somewhere between the summer of '83 and '84. What I was told about the frame was it was OEM'd from Colnago, built from Columbus Tretubi, Campy drop-outs and an english BB. It's currently out to have a damaged tube replaced and repainted.
I'd like to know more about the frame and who built them. Here is a pic of the head tube lug. It's a heart, but not the same shape as a DeRosa.

Any info is appreciated.

Jim

I would have thought a colnago would have an Italian bb, plus I reckon these lugs look the same as the ones on a ti raleigh, but these lugs probably are used by different builders anyway
?

A few more pics might help :d

Shaun

PS I have seen a lot of frames with heart shaped cutouts, I think even Haden made them as OEM.

At first glance I thought it was a Masi, which would have been great for you, but the English bb nixes that one (plus the lug is close but not exact) Those lugs were fairly common so I agree with Shaun we need to see more.

Here's the lug at the seat tube, the BB has no cutouts.
