probably worth more than the £100 I sold it for.

I had three bikes when I was 19

1) monty b219ch trials bike
2) cannondale m800 trials bike in red
3) gt zaskar le 1993 trials bike

I had 2 comp bikes and the zaskar was the spare that was mainly used as a wheelie bike .

A Raleigh Record that I had saved up my paper-round money for over a year to buy when I was 16.

And my mum's old bike (complete with wicker basket) as my "university bike"

I had a Raleigh Esprit in my very early 20's to replace my Revell that I had been talked into selling by a wish I never had boyfriend :(

Just remembered, my mum's/university bike was a Beeston.

By 19 I was bikeless. Sold my beloved Dawes Raw Nerve the previous year as I'd started to get ill and needed a car.

Wasn't until 15 years later that i saw the back of that illness and bought another bike!

Kawasaki Z250 Scorpion.

I bought it from a vehicle dismantlers and built it back up and then get upgrading parts ... some things don't change.

You know we should organise a retro motorbike ride - pending engine mods I'll bring along the old Slingshot :) Any interest?
