I love the process of starting a new project, the planning, sourcing the parts and researching the details. Plus Colnagos are one of my favorites to work on. Look forward to seeing the progress. BTW I have a '77 Super, it one of my training bikes.

well, I found the period correct front derailleur, and the high flange hubs,
just need that darn elusive seatpost.
Got two companies who can do the chroming, so it'll be down to the cheapest quote )
thinking of Nisi or Ambrosio rims, keep it Italian

I got the saddle, right hubs and front derailleur , and found some nos 3ttt tape, which will match stem and bars
got a set of mavic motherly tubes in silver with record hubs from a donor bike, with the other hubs I'll use clinchers
got a good quote for the chroming, so i will go to see them to get a quote before I see my usual refurbisher

I stripped most of the parts, headset cups are stuck so I;ll keep lubbed for a bit
