I know it's not a real Ritchey, being it made in Taiwan, but it's a stilish, well thought-out frame, sturdy enough for the use I want to make of it: long rides on gravel roads and occasional "real" MTB rides.
So, the components are not CX specific: Magura brakes, a relief for yor arms and hands on long descents, USE Shockpost, a very wide gearing ratio, with an 11-34 cogset matched to a 48-32 White crankset.
Wheelwise, at the moment it has a pair of sound Aksyum Races, but for the summer, when the mud won't wear the sides of my Ghisallo Wooden rims, it will get hoops made of timber mounted around an ultra-smooth PMP hubset.
As it is, the SC is incredibly fun to ride, smooth, and valid even when I have to use it s a spare bike on rides with my fellow MTB racers.
