With all the talk of DX and STIs it has to be at least 1990, one magazine pic on that thread confirms 1990 ;)

There's two 1991 brochures showing different colours for different markets so I guess they did it in 1990 too.
 
Yeah think your right with the alternative "euro" 1990 colour schemes...although I though that Biopace was fazed out by 1990?

Checking the brochures all groupsets had a choice of "Biopace SG" or round from 90 to 92. Biopace SG (and HP in 1989) were a lot less oval than the originals.

Some makers stuck with it for a bit but it's rare on high-end bikes and hard to spot anyway (triangular sticker).
 
Sweet bikes, and the orange Team Issue, yummy.

Strange looking forks on that frame though. I thought TI's came with Ritchey Logics? My 91 was listed as having them. I also thought the 91 had a unique chainstay design, zooming into this image I see the same looping stays joined with a larger dia tube at the bb.

Does anybody recognize the straight blade forks shown in the catalog?
