Classic!! I maybe shouldn't admit this but I used to have a Saturday job at Halfords as a teenager and built up many a Raleigh Activator. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever expect to see one with XTR bits on it!!

In fairness to Raleigh, I never experienced a customer bringing one back with a problem but, my God, the Apollo bikes used to come back all the time. I remember being physically threatened by a man who'd bought an Apollo for his kid's Christmas present only for the chain to snap on the first outing which happened to be a family bike ride on Christmas day! According to him I'd 'ruined his Christmas'...

Personally I'd like to see a neon orange Apollo Kalamunda with McMahon Ti fork stem bars & post, Paul mechs, Bullseye hubs and cranks... OK, you get the idea....

1990 AMERICAN M16

This is my 1990 AMERICAN M16. XT 735 groupset, Campagnolo rims, SYNCROS post ans also the rare AMERICAN roller stem. Fork is the original Ritchey Logic. It's not a bling bling bike ;)

Enjoy those welds :D
