I think there should always be a connection, what the parts are concerned. the seat and the connection here? The Lobo, the bike that followed in GT's line, sported the same SDG Big Boy. Keep it! The Flite would be too XC-ish and maybe some other SDG would suit it better? S7000? Ventura?

Just don't drench it in carbon componentry, please! :D

Dont worry, wont be changing anything, Got this one to play with and put carbon bits on, more of a modern ish build this one.

Love that SDG Big Boy saddle . Weighs about 3lb, but it's period correct for that bike. HUGE saddles had a brief spel in the limelight mid 90's.

Doesn't mean people should bring them back into the limelight.....

Uhm, are there certain Retrobike looks rules that we should be aware of? If so, please tell! The fact that a company chose to equip a related bike with a certain product must be of some relevance. On the other hand, if we are so looks-sensitive, I hope you don't see other, uhm, "modernist" creations on this forum, including the aforementioned STS in sheer carbon fiber exaggeration or certain Monster-sporting full suspensions. They will scratch your retina badly!

Peace, love and Big Boys!
