I am the second owner of a Klein Performance in Gator tri-fade from 1989 in 53cm. The original owner's first frame cracked and Klein sent him the wrong size back when they replaced it. To say sorry, they let him pick whatever color he wanted. So, this beauty was ridden less than 100 miles with full Suntour Sprint and then it was left leaning on a wall until I bought it from him. After cleaning it and giving it a full bath and run through, it looks fantastic with only one minor chip on the chain-stay. I had placed this bike on Ebay, but changed my mind, because I would like to trade.
I am looking for a 53cm Klein in Storm or Night Storm, or maybe another fade? Let me know. I put on candy apple Brooks tape and a B17 saddle. A Dura Ace rear derailer to replace the one that was acting up (shifting in Friction works perfectly)
