How much is my Team Raleigh M-Trax 450 Elite worth?

Hi

I've got Barrie Clarkes ex race bike from 1996 when he won the British Nationals. It is full of all the X-LITE, HOPE, XTR, SRAM, FIR and Rock Shox kit. I have just replaced the elastomers with an uprated spring kit from the USA and the bike rides superb!!

I am considering selling it but i have no idea what it is worth, everything works perfectly, i've just serviced everything including the Maguras and its still got all its original graffics!

...any suggestions on value? :roll:

This is a stunning stunning bike.
I know that a normal Torus frame will go for anything from £180 to £250, and more depending on whether there are forks attached or not.
whereas this is not only a complete Bike, it also has some superb and premium parts, is unique, has lineage and prestige and legacy and thus it'll be worth far more than that, how much? I don't know, but I'm sure if you put it in "how much is my x.y.z worth" you'll see.

I love this bike, I've just bought myself a RSP Ti frame, and am going to fit it with X-Lite stuff, and what I am especially after is the same stem you have here!

Anyone have one for sale?
 
hey guys thanks for your replies...I bought this off the Raleigh team mechanic back in '96 and I think there were 4 if i remember rightly

...still no idea what it's worth though kik

has anyone ever bought one of these or seen one for sale anywhere??

I had one of the non team-owned 450 elite titanium bikes, nice bike but I ended up tearing the headtube clean off the frame. light but not terribly well made. :(
 
You must have had a bad one Steve as I've had this since '96 and its been ridden in many cyclo cross and xc seasons and its perfect! :p

Steve the 450 and other rsp and torus ti 's aren't poorly made at all
