Colnago Frame

benjones44

Retro Newbie
Colnago super with Columbus tubing, in pristine condition.

The seat tube measures 62cm centre to centre, 64 centre to top, so its a big frame.

The frame has been professionally restored and painted to the highest standard at great cost and it looks spectacular, its a blue version of the Saronni paint finish, the photos don't do it justice really its just very very nice. There are no dings or scratches, wheels have been fitted at some point so there is some slight rubbing to the fork end where the wheel nuts go but other than that its pretty much perfect. It has all the stamped frame logos in the right places to show that it is a genuine Colnago frame, so the stamped/engraved clubs are there and the engraved Colnago logo on the tops of the rear forks etc

Campag record headset and BB include.

Pick up from Hackney E9

Would like £350

Thanks

If the buyer pays for an item and then the seller refuses to send, it is both against the distance selling regs and breaks ebay rules.

I know this, as that is exactly what someone did to me with a set of cranks.

Looking at the feedback, no money appears to have changed hands so no contract of sale and legal title stays with the seller.....

I am not sure how enforcable a winning auction bid on e-bay is under UK law......

According to Ebay, in my case there was nothing they could do, but they were mightily hissed off.

If no money has changed hands, then there's naff all the auction winner can do, as the seller is not obliged to sell.

Happened to me with a frame. Guy refused to sell as my winning bid was too low. E-bay are too lenient with this behaviour. I'd even paid for it! All you can do is give bad feedback.
