Well I got £120 I think for some XTR cranks like that earlier last year so you should easy get £160. ;)

Brock is on the money with the XTR cranks, you should get 100-120 without too much trouble. I reckon you should split ~ you'll get far more takers for an XTR chainset without the Sugar attached to it. The Sugar is a bit tricky, as perhaps in retro-limbo ~ too old to be current, but too young to be retro and collectable. It might be worth finding an original shock for it to broaden it's appeal :)

1990's Marin Bear Valley SE Value

Hi I have two 1993? Marin Bear Valley SE Bikes for sale. All original parts apart from chains. Have been stored outside for a long time. One is 17.5" CC & the other 15CC. Both have been owned since new & are not dented or warped or twisted, no buckled wheels. As the have been stored outside they have some rust. Will need new tyres, grips, seat on 17.5 torn etc but when last used all worked ok but have not been ridden for a couple of years at least.

Any ideas on value?

Location: Albury near Bishops Stortford.

Personally I think you'd be lucky to get £50 each but others may have a better idea.

Hi folks, I have a 2000 Orange Sub 5 which I am looking to sell and need some advice on value.

I've owned the bike since 2010 and have ridden it only in the summer maintaining/replacing parts along the way.

Full Pace Fork service by Fork English of this parish (RC36 EVO III)
New Bottom bracket
New (race spare) 2009 RP23 shock from J-Tech
SRAM chain, M770 cassette, jockeys, Middleburn Outer and middle rings- 1 ride only brand new.
New rear outer and inner gear cable.
Both brakes have fresh brake fluid.

Similar ones on ebay hit between £500-600, but don't seem to be as well prepped as mine- thoughts?

Sold a few of these in the past, stripped back serviced and rebuilt can reach £90 to £120, maybe more if in VGC
With yours left outside for a while, especially if excessive corrosion then maybe no more than £30 to £50
Do a good deed and donate them to your local cycle recycling centre maybe?

Nice Bike...!
If you can wait til the Spring I'd look to auction the cycle on EBay and you may well get over £400 as is

Broken down and sold as parts you may get more from EBay or retro sales.

Hope that helps, if I had £400 spare I'd make you an offer :)

1995 Gary Fisher Procaliber LTD, the OCLV... in a bit of a state, forks need a service and so forth
Difficult as not something that comes up often. I know I couldn't pay more than £200 for something needing TLC no matter how high-end it was.

Sadly most parts are now scrap with only the frame/forks/rims worth anything (except a few spares an enthusiast could revive/recycle). I'd say £50 for the pair to someone local who likes to scrape their knuckles. As above would have been worth £80+ each if not left outside!

As has been said, you'd get far more splitting. The RP23 alone should reach £150 to £200, Pace forks £100ish, brakes £50+, wheels £80ish, frame around £200 to £250 etc. Think you'd be lucky to get any more then £400 to £500 complete as even though yours is very tidy looking it's old and for £500+ far more modern 5's are turning up.
