Dirt Disciple
Hi Guys,

I wanted a bike that I could scoot about on in any weather, without damaging my Peugeot Triathlon. I had a donor bike, a Dawes Warick, that I will transplant most of the parts on to my newly aquired Raleigh Equipe. I will respray eventually, but its way too cold to get a good finish. Anyway.......

Thats as far as I got today, exam revision is taking up most of my priorities at the moment!

The Equipe was designed for 700c anyway.....

Your donor bike has a 531 frame and should be worth a £'s. Actually seems a shame to split the donor.....

Good luck with it anyway.
 
I'd second that, the Dawes is great. No offense but why bother with the Raleigh? It's like removing the parts from a clean Jaguar E-Type to put on a Ford Anglia you've just pulled out of a river.
