After 16 pages we seem to have done what most forums do when a thread becomes longer...completely wandered off the topic and moved into personal insults

On that basis I have nothing more to offer the thread.....Thanks to those who offered constructive and correctly informed inputs and I hope that those who it actually effects are able to see the need for change

im not sure anyone would be jewish by choice.

I mean that your list is a list of comedians with Jewish ethnicity, not a list of comedians who are religious Jews. Duh.
