How much does your GT Lobo weigh or your 90's DH bike?

That's not a bad weight at all I think for an LTS...and I imagine those forks weigh a bit. If you weren't worried about period specific you could probably go sub 30lb if you are starting at 32! 
you're right Chris, mine isn't the DH version, and should have some white bombers on it, but LTS' look so right with huge forks, imo. Would love some red boxxers to go on it.
