Retro Newbie
My father has a vgc Bianchi Centenario with all accessories that came with it when purchaced in 1985. Even the original Vittoria celeste walled tubes are in place. My father doesn't ride it anymore and it is too big (ct 57) for me and my brother and we are considering about selling this beautifull bike to the new loving home.

Because it is all original, in very good contition and quite rare, it is hard to determine it's price. I havent seen any other for sale at the moment, so I though this forum might be right place to start pricing the bike.

Do you have an idea about the correct asking price?

I'd have thought upwards of that. eBay is the only answer to reach the biggest audience.

Two motivated buyers could push the price up.

I'm afraid I have to disagree with those estimates. This is a collector's item and easily worth £1000+. It's in lovely condition and has all the original pantographed parts. Quite rare actually.

the one that sold on eBay was really rare, but it does give you an idea how special these are and clearly worth a lot more than £500!

The other one had Deltas prototypes that definitely raised the price a lot. On the other hand the finish was much worse and this is in pristine condition.
Anyway you are lucky guy, this is so beautiful and exceptional bike. I would keep it... Anyway good luck with the sale and hope it will find a good home.

Keeping it is an option. But size is too big for me or my brother and my father doesn't ride it any more. And we don't have place it deserves to store it. This bike is so beautiful that it should be in safe with it's soul mates.
