Really cheap crap.

Malcolm Rathmell - now there's a name from the past

Monty KY30 - suitable for dry conditions then??

KY

Will put some pics up of the bike, very happy with it.
Need to sort rear brake out, not working right.

Had bit of nightmare, couldn't get rear brake to work and neither could my local bike shop so had to do an exchange on another one.
This bike seems to work fine.
I would however recommend one of these for anyone looking for a cheap bike.

Ok, fitted a Hope stem, some decent pedals and Formula disc.
Wanted to fit a DMR or X-Lite seat post clamp but this bike is 34.9mm

doesn't look at all that bad for the money TBH.

Formula disc is wasted on that bike though - you really want the good stuff fitted on the front brake.

by the way - the rubber sleeves that are against the cable stops should be moved so they protect the head tube from cable rub.

Thanks for the idea but the front brake always works better on disc brakes and wanted to improve rear brake :)

The cable rubber sleeves are in a position where the cable does rub.
If you look at the pic you'll see that's where the cable is in contact with the frame.

it appears you have RH for rear and LH for front brake - unusual for UK - is that intentional - easy to swapo cables over.
