Cost of wheel building...

The labour cost for bike shops does seem to have rocketed...when I worked in a shop we were no where near £30 an hour. I used to pay my local BMW specialist £45 an hour, which I think makes the bike shop charges look very high.
I've gradually bought most of the tools I need to avoid them...all except a wheel building jig.
Hopefully my new wheel will be here in the not too distant future so I can get back out on my bike.

Any idea where I can look for a good spoke length calculator please? Building up Hope Evo hubs with Sun-Ringle MTX33 rims.

I tend to build all my own wheels, just for convenience really. I'm not sure I save that much money, but it does allow me to select hub, rim and spokes to suit the use I am going to put the wheel to.
Contemplating some 29er wheels at present, which I guess will just be like 700c road wheels, but with beefy rims
