BSA Parabike

I would love to do a custom paint job + alot of upgrades on one of these.
Starting off with just the frame and forks.

+1 - I think it would be great to (sympathetically) modernise one of these classic bicycles. I'd even be tempted to turn it into a workhorse of sorts - a Tourer/Commuter effort, per chance?

If it was an original 41-45 War Dept bike I'd restore it to war spec

If it was one of the non-WD ones I'd restore in the same way, except chrome a few bits

Racing green paint, red large flange hubs {fixed}, alloy rims, chopper bars....no ... ok....maybe a pair of flat north roaders ,brooks swift.

Sold for 2.5 K

Isn't 'shill bidding' just ace on ebay

A few of those bidders have 50% - 55% - 100% with the seller, so these deceitful people rose the price
and the winner was a genuine bid, bless him! he must have been very pished over xmas day

I'd never seen that bidding % thing before... interesting!

But yes, stinks somewhat.

However, I once sold a BMW E36 M3 front airdam lip on eBay - when they were available new from the dealers for £90 inc VAT. Mine was new and unused as well, but mindful of it being available over the counter, stuck it on at £20

Went for £201

Idiots.
