Marzocchi preload adjuster thingie wanted shiver DC/SC

right i'm currently building a bike with Marzocchi shiver on it.
I'm in desperate need of one of those little black adjuster's
that fit the top of the forks with a small grub screw in it.

Sorry for the lack of knowledge but i don't know what they are called.

Do you mean the preload adjuster

You maybe able to find them a bit cheaper if you search

yep that's them but they are discontinued at CRC and windwave :cry:

suppose an engineer could make some?

i imagine the little hole for the crub screw would be a pain.

Cant be that hard to fashion one out of some aluminium? Quite a simple shape isnt it?
A circular piece. Measure the radius of the other one for reference. Then file 2 flats. Stick in vice and pillar drill a grub screw hole in.

but I can't think of the name.

Thanks very much my friend but these are for
the Marzocchi junior t 2005 onwards , and these are far bigger than the
shiver version.

Just found a company called active sports that have loads of marzocchi spares.
More so than uk bike store , same preload adjuster though :roll:

That was the company's name I couldn't think of, are you sure these won't fit your fork.. as they look just like the ones on my Z1's.
The measurements also look the same, I thought all the preload adjusters would be the same from forks of this series..

Are you sure it was the preload adjuster and not a lock out switch ?

This one looks just like all the others I've seen
