Excel " Regal " 1950s

Excel's

there were two Excel shops (both separate businesses) Dan Genner in Colliers Wood SW London and Fred Genner/Harry Perry in Woolwich SE London, do you know which one? an underside photo of the fork crown should help......

What are all the shiney brass head bolts for ? I saw the one above the crown/headset and another above the left BB area and thought oiling ports, but then I see one under the right chainstay ?

As you say brass bolts are oil / grease port covers,
under the right hand chain stay , there is a threaded post which goes through the bottom of the chain stay, no idea what the mounting is for, bolt just keeps the dirt out

the underside chainstay boss I can only assume would have been a gear cable guide mount or possibly a fitting for a chain tensioner?.....
