Interesting comparison test of steel frames

It might be interesting but I can't read it on the iPad! Hopefully this will get bumped until I get my laptop back from repair grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

They're all Columbus tubesets though - anyone know what the comparisons would be in Reynolds?

I made some wild guesses based on comparing tensile strengths...

Aelle = 531 / 520 / 525
Cromor = 531 / 520 / 525
Thron = 531 / 520 / 525
Brain = 631
SLX = 631 / 653
Neuron = 753
EL-OS = 853

Interestingly, he thought the SLX felt soft, the Thron absorbed bumps best, and the EL-OS stiffest and "felt" nicest. But he was unable to differentiate much at all between the feel of Aelle / Cromor / Thron / Brain or Neruon... Only the SLX and EL-OS stood out at all.

There is a comparison of Columbus Genius and Reynolds 753 (or 853) out there somewhere. Two nearly identical bikes built by the same frame builder and ridden back to back. I should have saved it when I found it :roll:
I think the reviewer preferred Genius.
