Haldon Ride - Sunday 16th December > > >

Just about to leave.

I have No1 son with me and No1 daughter (and Highland friend) en route.

The sky's nice and clear where we are, fingers crossed for the same in Devon.

Well, just got home.

What a blindingly good ride, thanks Tom.

Next time can we not have the rain.... and the hail... and the lightning strike less than a quarter of a mile away.

Actually, keep the lighting strike as it nearly made Katie jump off her bike (polite version).

We've never been to Haldon before, what an excellent trail centre, we will be back there over Christmas.

Right, off to replace the rear mech on the Roberts, bl**dy XTR rubbish.

No worries, sorry I didn't get to say bye, I bumped into some friends and went for a lap on some other trails.
That was some heavy rain - and being that close to a lightening strike was fun

No worries, Jon thought that's what had happened.

XTR issue turned out to be a 'super lightweight' top jockey wheel axle (TACX I think), which is made of such soft alloy I can almost dent it with my thumbnail

So, off to try and find a replacement top TACX jockey wheel
