It has to be a late 92 because it has a 27.2.
I had always thought that Sunburst was not available till spring 93.
Any thoughts?

Looks great Lawrence, glad you got your grail Klein.

Yours must be a 92/93 crossover year, it has a 92 fame with 93 lettering, 92 = 27.2mm seatpost and decals, 93 = 31.6mm de-bossed lettering, but i'm sure you know that ;)

Are these quite rare (with debossed logo & 27.2)? Would be interesting to know the month?

Serial # is: ATT002282
I know they usually don't mean much but 22" July 92?

I think that's the old style serial..? When did it change?

Are the MC1 stem decals debossed? I havent seen too many done like that..

Heres one they did..

I can't believe it!

I too e-mailed this guy some 6 months ago and asked to buy his bike. He said no but told me he would keep me in mind if he ever decided to sell it.

I guess that slipped his mind........sad for him....I probably would have paid quite a bit for it.

Anyway, I found it the same way, browsing the net for pictures of the Sunburst (the owner didn't even know it was a Sunburst....he called it a Backfire).

Since I found another Attitude I didn't spam him with further requests but I guess that was a bad strategy.

Well, all that is left for me to say now is.........congratulations to the new owner.
