Raleigh record ace moderne 653 ending soon

I had been watching this for a few days to see whether it could form part of a project but decided it was too nice to break up and respray! £161.66 is a fair price I reckon.
 
I think that you have got a little beauty, would have bid myself but its was too far away and I already have one!
One of the best, if not the best steel frame to come out of Worksop. Enjoy.
Have a look at my gallery for the same 653 frame converted to Single speed for my daughter. Frame weighs 1645g, forks 680g, nice and light
Mine is the 531 version from 1987 and in the original colours.
 
Ah, I think we have crossed lines! I didn't bid either as I want a frame as a project but felt that this was too nice a bike to strip down and repaint. Someone though has got themselves a gorgeous ride.
