Sonic cycles restoration.

Good colour choice.

Mine came back from it's makers a couple of weeks ago.

Just finished building the front wheel, so I'll be able to start assembly shortly. The last couple of parts are going to be new and a little expensive, so it won't be finished until after Christmas.

Still, that's for another thread, back to your Sonic, when's it due to be painted?

.

I think i'm at the back of the queue in the christmas rush
He has 7 frames to build, none of them are straight forward, basic designs.
He's going to try to fit mine in between the other better paying jobs as i have negotiated a nice price
I think i'll see it mid january :D

That's a lot quicker than my DB, which took seven months to come home, complete with a new top tube and the paint.

.

Mine would have been done 2 weeks ago if i had bitten the bullet and gone for orange straight away  I am glad i had a good think about it though.
I need a black 22.2 quill stem if anybody has one spare :D
Initially i got a NOS Tricolour stem, silver bars and post, but i've since bought carbon bars and i already had a carbon post so i'm now thinking black post, bars and stem?
Having looked at as many orange framed bikes as i could find over the last 2 weeks i think i need to use as much black as possible to make the frame standout

What diameter are the bars?

I've still got the stem I PM'ed, or possibly e-mailed you the picture of.
