Just a quick point, I THINK Stronglight and TA may be slightly different threading. Have you tried the remover with both and had it work OK?
 
TA 23x1 , Stronglight 23.3x1
so both is x1 thread and just 0.3mm is the differnce.
TA puller usable in stronlight crank
( not the best but if you have tight the puller should be okay)
but Stronglight puller NOT usable in TA crank
