Looks like a nicely built bit of kit though. Proper dual mono design, screening cans on the transformers etc.

Yep, he's into 70's/80's stuff.

I'm about 8 miles west of Worcester. Bit of a trek (no pun). There must be a specialist, or an old guy in a shed near you.

DAB - any views?

Since having my little DAB portable in the bedroom, my interest in broadcast radio has been rekindled, but DAB as a hifi source is not something I've looked into.

As FM is probably not long for this world, and there is so much excellent choice via DAB, does anyone have any recommendations for a DAB tuner? OR is internet radio a better choice from an audio quality point of view or are they as bad / good as each other?

when is FM going? i hate listening via the web, utter rubbish, just like 95% of the web.
