Jack Taylor project

Retro Newbie
This week my Granda bought a longstaff trike and has given me his Jack Taylor frame and a few bits so I now find myself with a little winter project.
I've got the.frame and rear wheels although I think they ll need replacing or refurbished.

I'd like to get it back to its former glory if possible so I could really do with some advice in terms of components etc.

I believe it was made after the Taylors finished in the workshop and is likely one if the.last to have been made in early nineties at the home of Ken or Norman.

Finally I d.like to.have it sprayed too so was thinking maybe bob Jackson to get that done.

Any tips greatly appreciated

Dan

lucky you. Re components, depends what sort of frame it is. They did tourers as well as racing frames.

Re finish, Bob Jackson will be fine. Chris Marshall in Keighley does very good work at competitive prices. He specialises in restoring vintage frames and has restored a few Jack Taylors. His number is 01535 691073.

post a few pix!
