This one goes back to 1991 in the Exmouth Cycle depot looking at GTs, the Avalanche was the one I wanted, in the end I got a 1992 Outpost :?
I still have the well thumbed 1991 brochure, in the front was the high end hand crafted framesets - the one that always caught my eye in its gleaming Red Dupont Imron paint was the as yet un-named 'True Temper Cromoly Frame' and I've been after one ever since!

This one is in great shape but needs a paint job. It is going to go to as close to the catalogure red as I can get it, black forks and stem.
Kit wise it's going to be XT, but with black hubs, cranks brakes etc - I think the deep red and black will look ace
