Hand brazed British Steel: Orbit 531 circa '90

Just need some black wide bars, a Turbo saddle, find some crank caps, an m730 driveside in 175mm and to fit my M730 pedals.

Some pics in the sun at last!

Man, enjoyed the story and the care and love gone into building this bike.
Lovely, and very worthy!

Good job pal and nice to see it getting dirty. Hope mine looks as good when it's finished.

I just love the shape of that bike (A laymans quote). I want something like that too :D

Yes its a classic 88-91 handbuilt british bike shape! Exactly what attracted me to it. Orbit are perhaps not quite as desirable as an an Overburys or Orange Formula (don't have the same pedigree I suppose), but its the same classic dropped top tube shape and fillet construction, and very "british" with the use of Reynolds tubing.

Do you know the size of the thread for the barrel adjuster on the rear canti bridge? Mine was running V's and the adjuster is long gone!

Still looking great btw
