SRAM and Sunrace are also both worth considering for 7 & 8 speed cassettes, especially the latter which are comparatively cheap too (I use a 7sp Sunrace on my tourer/commuter so it's been quite hard-worked since buying it) - well engineered and a tad lighter than Shimano.
