Hey bryanus, how are you finding that single chain ring on the front.

Ive got the same crankset and was going to try using just a single ring on it.

I haven't ridden it yet actually, but I picked that ring based on finding other riders with that exact setup, plus the ring is beautifully machined. I ride a 1x9 on my Bonty already, and have been really happy with how that performs (although it's a Ritchey Compact crankset and 30T ring).

It's an e13 Guide Ring, and comes in about 10 different anodized colors. Oh, and you'll also need some single ring chainring bolts. I used ProblemSolvers alloy ones.

Here's my latest toy:

A '96 RTS 3. All original except for the seat, seatpost and pedals. Soon to be stripped and rebuilt as I'd have specced her in '96.

Sweet RTS there something about a small frame'd one just looks

Here's an update to my first Pantera, now sporting modern 27 speed

Pardon the panniers.

It actually started life as a RTS-2 but when the frame cracked around the rocker a month after I got it and the bike was not ridden hard, GT sent a RTS-1 frame to replace it. :) I've been riding it ever since, original owner.
I just replaced the tires and seat recently with Ritcheys.
