just arrived this morning... 41 pound offof ebay..

need to replace the shimano brakes with suntour but otherwise should be ok..

......except for the resin bottom bracket that I don't really want to think about yet! why why why!!??

One of the nicest bikes in the Muddy Fox 89 line up IMHO

There should be a scan of the 89 broucher in the scans section

These are great bikes. The 89 foxes are just right for some reason.
I wish I knew why.

Nice one Matt!
I have to admit to knowing very little about early MFs until recently. Then I bought an '89 Pathfinder, and I now love 'em! Lots of bargains around at the moment, snap 'em up while you can.

Yep it's a nice model, I have one and a bit of these, I bought it while I couldn't find a 1990, Side by side with my 1990 frame, these look loads better made! It's sort of like a heavier Orange Clockwork. Will have to build one of mine up 19" or 21" and see if it rides as good as it looks. What size is yours 23"?
Brakes on mine are a thick plastic covered cantilever, My chainset is missing and the rear mech is broke! :?

that model was my for proper mtb, as in not a pig iron basic raleigh!

unfortunately it got nicked

it recently inspired this though as an exercising the demons type thing
