Just finished this off.Still cant get off road until next year(so the doctor says)so Ive built this up just to keep the sit bones in shape. Its not an expensive piece by any means, but I quite like it :D

Oddly enough, when I got it the frame looked to be painted in satin colours,so I decided a spot of Autoglym wouldn't do any harm and help stop the salt etc marking the frame. So I got loads slapped on and rubbed in well, then went in for a cuppa. Went back outside 10 mins later and took the wax off and low and behold gloss finish  Im guessing the chap whom I bought the frame from had either degreased the full bike before the split or it had been left in the sun alot.Either way Im pleased with the result. :D

Yes very nice and shiny, when are you coming out for a ride with us to get it all muddy

Next appointment for the specialist is Jan 14th.Im hoping I will be allowed to play after that. But that one won't be getting muddy, its too big for me really, its ok on the road, but that's as far as it goes :D

Regards Eric :D

Well I have a few road rides planned over the winter as I've just finished building a commuter/tourer type thing and want to ride it ;)

Even I've had to put some slicks* on a bike just to keep Chris happy. He keeps goign on about road this, road that... and I keep looking at teh bridleway signs :(

I just ride whatever is working or almost working at the time. Just don't clean them too well, if at all as it's now dark. Then there is no worry about getting it dirty :D

Of course looking at the recent stream of rides posted up on Strava everyone seems to have had the 'I must stay inside' bug after the clocks changed.

*ok semi slicks/ touring type ;)

I know what you mean about bridleway signs.I never really paid much attention to them until the beginning of this year. Now every one I see(and public footpath signs too )I wonder where it goes and if its ridable and how many gates/fences I would come accross :D
