hi
check this one out. it is what i believe to be completely
original right down to the ms racing tires.
too bad they are in rough shape.
but they will be staying on it.
i haven't cleaned it or anything.
exactly as i picked it up.
really happy to get it.
don't think these come around that often.
especially in my neck of the woods.
thanks M.A. nice chatting with you. :)

How cool is that?

Can't say i've ever seen a stem/front brake setup like that before.

Great find!

Fantastic - that really takes me back. MS Racing was the first brand of MTB I lusted after back in the day. That's a really smart example.

That's nice, I don't see many of those around deepest, darkest Wales. I liked their e-stay models, way back when (or am I confusing MS Racing with Panasonic? or did both companies produce an e-stay, or three?...I know that Panasonic did).

Nice bike

RustyGold: This thread explains how MS Racing morphed into Alpinestars around 1989. That's probably where you remember the e-stays from.

There's at least one in Wales, waiting to be rebuilt. Here's a pic of it newly powder coated. Sadly the finish was so poor it had to be done.
