Yes, one of the 'special' ones for the American market with the 'safety features'
surrounding the adjusting screws in case someone seriously damages their health making sure the
cage doesn't hit the spokes. Seriously, what was the point of that?

I've seen these plastic things around other stuff and used to scratch my head as to why!

All explained by 'Old Ned' ;)

The CPSC consumer products safety commission must have drove Campy crazy with all the product mandates and resulting design changes. What on earth were they protecting with the plastic cover on the dérailleur adjusting spring/screw. The CPSC also gave use curved QR levers on hubs and brakes, wider bb spindles, lipped front derailleur cages and complications/challenges for people restoring vintage bikes. ;) Were late production derailleurs sold in Europe w/o those covers?

My paganini super corsa made by ciocc with lots of campy s record,

Not sure how to add pictures direct
Will some tell me how?

Flicker has always been a bugbear with me in uploading pictures

For some strange reason I sense I have been at your house on a VCC ride last year!

I came with Paul Betts and Pete Crotty and I stood in some dog muck and dragged it into your house

Bloody gorgeous Hetchins by the way

Cheers.
Ian.
